We are sick of WInter! Enough, already!
I know some of you from the true winter weather states are laughing at this.
Just remember, I am a Florida boy. Winter to me is 55 degrees with a cloud or two.
It was a cold, damp wet fall here in NC, and the month of December was pretty much lousy too.
No snow, just grey, damp cold days. Not dry pleasant cold, but bone chlling make you sick cold.
I am just now feeling back to normal, after getting sick the Saturday after Christmas.
So is the Queen, who came down with it the next week.
Today is typical, high in the thirties, overcast and damp.
At least we had our first real snow last week in several years, 7 inches here and no ice.
But I couldn't fully enjoy it for having to clear the driveway several times.
We do not handle that kind of weather well here in the south, it doesn't occur often enough to warrant the expensive removal equipment. We simply wait for it to thaw and melt away.
Queen Felicia took a lot of gorgeous pictures of our Winter Wonderland, I'll post them soon.
Come on Spring time, it's time to warm up and garden!

Oh, stop complaining, Southerner.
Just kidding :)! Everything is relative, actually--I mean, this winter here in PA is a breeze compared to that year we spent in Iowa. One week I was relieved it was so much warmer--actually, it tipped over on the plus side of zero and THAT felt warmer. Anyplace in the midwest in worse, not to mention the upper East and Canada! Not to mention Alaska! Not to mention Greenland! What gets me is how winter just goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and. . . .
